The Sanford V Ross who signed as witness on this record is my GG
grandfather--however I do not know how Jeffree Ross or John Ross are
connected to him.  Any information would be most appreciated.

of Sanford  V. Ross this 2nd day of August 1836.   JS Whitaker

Jesse Gee states upon his Oath that he is acquainted with Elizabeth Gee
for whom a license is requested to intermarry with Jeffrey W. Ross and
that he truly believes said Elizabeth is 21 years of age.
Given under my hand this 2nd day of August 1836.

   We, the undersigned, are jointly and severally held and firmly bound
unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the sum of L50, to be made and
levid of our respective goods, chattels, lands and tenements, and for
the use of the Commonwealth--upon the condition that there is no lawful
cause to obstruct the marriage of
   Jeffrey W. Ross and Elizabeth Gee
   Given under our hands and seals this 2nd day of August 1836.

          Jeffrey W. Ross having entered into bond, with security, in
the penalty of L50: this license is granted him to intermarry with
Elizabeth Gee, daughter of Richard Gee, deceased.
And any Minister, legally authorised, may celebrate the rites of
matrimony between the said Jeffrey W. Ross and Elizabeth Gee.
