Know all men by these presents that we John Ross and Alex Montgomery
are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky in the penal
sum of L50 rendered upon condition that if there shall be no lawfull
cause to obstruct the marriage of John Ross and Naomi Hinton, daughter
of Alice Samples who hath Given her Consent thereto then this obligation
to be void Else to remain in full force and virtue given under our hands
this 14th day of Oct 1815.
