WIll Book A p. 7 I ROBERT COCHRAN of Shelby County and State of Kentucky being of Sound mind and memory do make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following To Wit: 1st I will to my daughter POLLY THOMAS, that part of my farm that lies west of the Big Road and three of my Negroes, viz MARIA, MIRA and PETER. She is also to have Stock equal to my other Children. 2nd It is my will and desire that all my just debts should be paid and if there is any surplus of the moneys now due me that it shall be equally divided between my three Daughters. 3rd I will to my son JOHN COCHRAN my home place with its appurtenances that lies East of the Big Road leading to Taylorsville also my Negro Boy named BOB. 4th I will to my daughter ANNA KINCHALOE and her heirs forever my negro Girl now in her possession named CHARLOTTE and my negro named SQUIRE. 5th I will unto my Daughter PATSY YANTES my negro man named JOE. 6th it is my will and desire that all my household and kitchen furniture together with my Stock of every ---- Should be equally divided between my Daughters PATSY YANTES. I do hereby constitute and appoint my Son JOHN COCHRAN and PETER STOUT administrators of this my last will and testament which I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 22 Nov 1824.
