KY Will Book 4 p. 415 Be it remembered that I JESSY CLARK of County of Shelby and State of Kentucky being sick and weak of body but of Sound Mind & Memory blessed be Almighty god for the Same do make and publish this my Last will & Testament in manner and form following. Viz. Item. My desire is that all my Just debts be paid and my funeral Charges by my Executors within Six months after my decease. Item my desire is that my dearly beloved wife ELIZABETH CLARK keep my plantation and all my property that remains after paying all lawfull charges on which I now Live during her widowhood or untill the youngest child which we have Shall arrive to the age of twenty one years then the plantation and all the property of every kind to be Sold and my Said wife to have one third of the whole and the other two thirds to be equally divided among my five children namely ELIZABETH CLARK, JESSE CLARK, EZEKIEL CLARK, DRURY CLARK, AMY ANN CLARK & DENNIS CLARK and if any should marry at any time before the youngest child comes to the age of twenty one years I desire that all my property Land and all may be Sold and the money be put out on Interest for the benefit of the children my desire is that all my boys be put to Some good trade at the age of Sixteen years if they choose. I do hereby order and appoint my brother JOHN B. CLARK executor of this my last will and Testament.
