We took 4 wheel drives up a hill in a cowpasture to find it. It was overgrown with brush which we cut back. We were thrilled to find Baze Thurman's stone intact and his wife Margaret Osborne Thurman next to him. The stones were made of soft limestone and were difficult to read. His was barely readable. Others in the cemetery were Tilford B. Hedges Silas Thurman son of R W & Eury Hedges B. 1797 Jan. 23 Born April 11, 1835 D. April 18, 1873 Died August 31, 1865 Robert W. Hedges Annie A. Hedges b. July 10, 1819 daughter of P.D. and Sophia Grant in the 79th year of her age Born July 1841 Died Sept. 26, 1841 There was another stone rather large that had fallen over and was too embedded in the ground to lift out. It was a Hedges...all I could read was the Hedges and 12, 1837 and 1878 I took pictures. Let me know if anyone would like copies. Laura Jones
