KY Deed Book A p. 235 Thomas BAILY and Elizabeth his wife of the County of Hardin and State of Kentucky of the one part and Benjamin THOMAS Sr. (?) of the County and state aforesaid of the other part ... for and in consideration of the sum of fifteen hundred Dollars to them in hand paid hath bargained and sold a certain tract or parcel of land lying in the County of Spencer on the waters of Brashears Creek containing one hundred and fifty acres be the same more or less. (signed) Thomas BAILEY Elizabeth does not sign the deed and there is no mention of her releasing dower right when it is recorded 19 Nov 1825. 4 May 1846 Jackson BAILEY and Mary BAILEY his wife of Jefferson County and State of Kentucky to Charles LORD of the County and State aforesaid... for and in consideration of the sum of three hundred and fifty Dollars to them in hand paid have given granted and sold all that tract or parcel of land situated on Dutchman Creek and being in Spencer County bounded by Jas.
