21 Feb 1825 Spencer Co. KY Deed Book A p. 89 GEORGE COLLINGS and SUSANNA 
COLLINGS his wife of Spencer County and State of Kentucky of the one Part and 
NICHOLAS PORTER of the Same County and State of the other part... that for and 
in consideration of the Sum of two hundred Dollars to them in hand paid hath 
bargained & Sold a certain tract or parcel of Land Situate in the County and 
State aforesaid containing 250 acres by Survey more or Less... “Beginning at 
Two Sycamores and an Elm on Salt River  at the mouth of Goose Run...”
