6 Oct 1828 Spencer Co. Deed Book A p. 217  Henry CRIST and Rachel his wife of 
Bullitt County and Commonwealth of Kentucky of the one part to Charles BOWMAN 
of the County of Spencer ... that for and in consideration of the sum of four 
hundred and eighty dollars  in Commonwealth paper to them in hand paid have 
Bargained and sold three several tracts of land in Spencer County and being 
part of an original Survey of about 1745 acres entered in the name of Humphrey 
MARSHALL and conveyed to Isaac COX dec’d and by his representatives to Henry 
CRIST being situate on Salt River near Plumb Creek and Bounded by MARSHALL’s 
line and  BOWMAN’s S.W. corner.
