Spencer Co. KY

22 Aug 1836  Spencer Co. Deed Book D p. 277  Thomas DEACON and Ambrose 
DEACON, children and heirs of John DEACON dec’d of the County of Spencer, 
State of Kentucky to Nathan COCHRAN of same... for and in consideration of 
the sum of Seven Dollars and fifty cents per acre to them in hand paid... 
have granted, bargained and sold a certain tract or parcel of land in Spencer 
Co. containing by survey Three hundred and 60 acres more or less (no 
description of where)

30 Nov 1836  Spencer Co. Deed Book D   Thomas DEACON and Ambrose DEACON, 
children and heirs of John DEACON dec’d of the County of Spencer, State of 
Kentucky to Nathan COCHRAN  for six dollars per acre a tract of land in 
Spencer County containing a survey of one hundred acres on the Drains of Salt 
River being part of a tract conveyed by Nicholas CRIST to Jacob CARTMELL and 
Jacob CARTMELL to the said John DEACON.

24 Feb 1837   Spencer Co. Deed Book D p.  358  John COCHRAN of the County of 
Spencer, State of Kentucky to Nathan BEAUCHAMP, James VAN DYKE, Edmund SLONE 
and Robert C. STONE of same for the purpose of promoting interest in 
education... for and in consideration of one Dollar hath granted to them as 
trustees in trust one half acre of Land near the South West corner of 
COCHRAN’s Land with the house thereon for the purpose of a School House.
