Beech Creek
Written: May 26, 1828

26 May 1828 Spencer Co. KY Deed Book B p. 32  Benjamin K. DOUTHETT and Sally 
his wife of the County of Spencer, State of Kentucky to Davis CLARKE of the 
County and State aforesaid of the other part that for and in consideration of 
the sum of two hundred and fifteen dollars to them in hand paid doth give grant 
bargain and convey a certain tract or parcel of Land situtate lying and being 
in the County of Spencer and State aforesaid on the waters of Beech Creek it 
being part of a tract that Richard STEPHENS purchased of Benjamin POPE 
containing by survey one hundred and fifty acres be the same more or less and 
bounded by HOPEWELL’s corner...  to HARLAND’s line.
