Deed Bk C p. 73 

27 Feb 1835 Spencer Co. William JOHNSTON and his wife Indiana of the County of 
Spencer and State of Kentucky of the one part to William POLK of the County of 
Spencer and State of Kentucky of the other part... for and in consideration of 
the sum of five hundred dollars to them in hand paid have given granted 
bargained and sold a certain Lot, piece or parcel of land lying in the County 
of Spencer in the Town of Taylorsville known as Lot number forty five.
