10 Feb 1826  Spencer Co. Deed Book A p.  265  Joseph L. McGEE and Celia his 
wife of Spencer County to Charles HALL of Bullitt County, both of Kentucky... 
for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred and ten dollars in hand paid 
have this day granted bargained and sold unto the said Charles HALL all right 
title and interest to a certain tract or parcel of land lying in Spencer County 
on the North side of Salt River and Dutchman Creek being part of the same which 
the heir of John McGEE deceased and the Heirs of Simeon HALL, Charles HALL and 
Henry CRIST (this part is damaged and unreadable but it says something about 
circuit court so the transaction probably took place due to a decree of some 
sort)
