25 Sep 1824  Spencer Co. Deed Book A p.  57  Ezekial NEWMAN and Elizabeth 
his wife of the County of Spencer and State of Kentucky to Simeon HAGAN of 
the County and State aforesaid... that for and in Consideration of the sum of two 
hundred and Sixty Six Dollars to them in hand paid have given granted and sold a 
certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Spencer Containing 
by Survey One Hundred ---- eight acres ( description of where it is is too damaged 
to read)
