Spencer Co. Deed Bk C p. 448  

6 October 1833  Henry NAPPER of Spencer County and State of Kentucky to Newman 
WELLS of the same County and State... that for and in consideration of the sum 
of Thirty Dollars to me in hand paid have bargained granted and sold a certain 
Tract or parcel of land lying and being in Spencer County on the waters of 
Simpsons Creek and bounded by the line of Said WELLS.
