9 March 1844 FRANKLIN OVERSTREET and MARY ANN OVERSTREET his wife of the County of 
Spencer and State of Kentucky of the one part to JESSE BOSTON of the County and State 
aforesaid... that for and in Consideration of the sum of three hundred and five 
Dollars to them in hand paid and also the sum of three hundred and five dollars to be 
paid the 1st March 1845 and the further sum of three hundred and five dollars to be 
paid the 1st March 1846 have granted bargained and sold a certain tract or parcel of 
land situate lying and being in the County of Spencer and State of Kentucky on the 
waters of Wolf run a branch of Brashears Creek containing sixty one acres and bounded 
by a corner of JOHN and JAMES OVERSTREET.

I have understood that Franklin OVERSTREET was son of John OVERSTREET and Elizabeth 
PREWITT (who I  see in Shelby & Spencer Co. records).  Do you know if that is correct?

I believe that couple also had Elisha & Chesterfield and other children...  but I 
don’t know  how they fit  into the scheme of what we are talking about and am curious 
to know if they were closely related to Betsy Overstreet Paris?
