Big Beech Creek
Written: August 22, 1825

22 August 1825 Spencer Co. KY Deed Book A p. 268 Ralph PHILIPS of Hunterdon 
County, State of New Jersey of the one part and Edward STEPHENS of the County 
of Woodford and State of Kentucky of the other part... for and in consideration 
of the sum of five hundred dollars Commonwealth money to him in hand paid hath 
granted bargain sell and confirm all that tract or parcel of land scituate 
lying and being in the County of Spencer in the State of kentucky on the waters 
of big beech creek containing one hundred and six and a half acres and bounded  
by Nath’l WOOD’s line   (rest of description damaged and very hard to read.
