18 May 1835  Spencer Co. Deed Book D p. 107  Thomas REASER and Rebecca 
his wife, formerly Rebecca PITTENGER, daughter of John PITTENGER Dec’d of 
Spencer County and State of Kentucky and Andrew SHAVER and Elizabeth his 
wife formerly Elizabeth PITTENGER daughter of John PITTENGER Dec’d of 
Jefferson County of the first part to Hezekiah TUCKER and William PITTENGER 
of Spencer County of the Second part that for and in consideration of the Sum of 
one hundred Dollars to them in hand paid by the party of the Second part the 
receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold 
unto the party of the Second part one tract or parcel of Land Lying in Spencer 
County on Elk Creek and the same land that belonged to John PITTENGER 
Dec’d in his life and desended to his heirs at his death and contains thirty six 
acres and one quarter now we the said party of the first part in Consideration of 
the aforesaid do give grant bargain and Sell all our right title and interest in and to 
the above described land and do warrant and defend the title of same against 
ourselves and our heirs.
