2 Feb 1831 Spencer Co. Deed Book C. p. 67  JOHN STILLWELL and ELEANOR his wife of 
Jefferson Co. to PLEASANT PARIS of Spencer Co. KY for and in consideration of the sum 
of four hundred dollars in hand paid have bargained sold and delivered in the county 
of Spencer two tracts or parcels of land lying on the waters of big Plumb Creek 
containing about 80 acres.JOHN STILLWELL

19 Sep 1834 Spencer Co. Deed Bk D p. 15  ELEANOR STILLWELL, Widow of John STILLWELL, 
Dec’d to PLEASANT PARIS. Witnesseth that whereas JOHN STILLWELL in his lifetime did 
convey to said PARIS a Certain Tract of Land now the said Widow for and in 
consideration of one Dollar in hand paid has bargained and sold two certain Tracts of 
land in Spencer County on the Waters of Big Plumb Creek.
