Spencer Co. Deed Bk C p. 218

9 Dec 1831  Peyton WELLS and Isabel his wife of the County of Spencer and State 
of Kentucky to Robert ROBISON of the county and State aforesaid that for and in 
consideration of the sum of thirty six dollars to them in hand paid  do grant 
bargain and sell a certain tract - peice or parcel of land situate lying and 
being in the county of Spencer and State of Kentucky on the waters of Plum 
Creek and bounded as follows... Beginning at a sugar tree and ston on the East 
bank of Big Plum Creek running thence North 80 degrees East 11 1/2 poles to a 
stone near James McGEES millrace thence up the side of said race north & West 
38 poles thence north 7 1/2 degrees west 32 1/2 poles to a stone enar the head 
of said Millrace on said Big Plum Creek thence down said creek as it meanders 
South 21 degrees West 22 poles thence South 29 west 18 poles thence south 7 
degrees East 18 poles thence South 25 East 21 poles to the beginning containing 
six acres by actual survey.
