Deed Book B p. 117 Whereas George WELLS has this day at my special interest and request have further agreed to indulge William PAYNE for one Note of twenty three dollars dated in the year 1819 one more for Seventy three dollars date 15 May 1830 and one more of Seventy three dollars dated 15 Jan 1821 also two notes for the year 1826 and 1827 fifty dollars each with the lawful interest on the above mentioned notes. Now in order to secure and indemnify and keep himself the said George WELLS in his aforesaid indulgences I have this day bargained, Granted and sold and byt these presents Grand and sell a certain parcel of property to Eleven head of Cattle and 35 head of hogs, 3 head of horses, four feather beds of furniture, 1 Bureau, 3 Tables ten Chairs 1 Cupboard and Cupboard ware 2 wheels 1 ---- and Gears, 1 Chest, 1 trunk, one Reel 2 Basons two fat pots and some otehr crockery ware 1 Spice Mortar and all the kitchen furniture 5 ploughs 2 pair of Gears Single tree and ch--- 2 axes 1 Iron wedge Seven hundred bushels of corn wheat stack and all the Blade staccks of my Crop of wheat & Rye now growing. Nevertheless upon Conditions that if the said William PAYNE shall pay George WELLS the aforesaid amount of notes this obligaton shall be null and void.
