Mrs. Elizabeth SNYDER THOMPSON, age 90 
died Wed. March 10, 1999, at Jewish Hospital, 
Shelbyville, KY.
She was  aresident of Taylorsville, a retired 
school teacher, having taught for 44 years in 
Spencer, Bullitt, and Jefferson counties, and 
in Southern Pines, North Carolina and Eagle 
River, Alaska.  She was a former director of pupil 
personnel in Spencer County schools, a 
member of the Little Mount Baptist Church, Spencer 
County Homemakers, Spencer Co. Retired 
Teacher's Assoc. and the Eastwood Senior Citizens.
Mrs. THOMPSON was also the president of the welcoming 
committee at the Taylorsville Health 
Care Center and a member of the board of directors and 
past secretary of the Multi Purpose 
Community Action Agency Board in Shelbyville.
Survivors  two sisters, Jessie SNYDER and Hazel S. 
SLUCHER, both of Taylorsville
