These words or to the lile effect the said Nicholas Thurman declared in the presence of the subscribers with intention that the same should be his last will and Testament whereof he desired them to bear testimony which we reduce to writing this the 8th day of November 1857. Hedges Sophia Grant At a County Court held for Spencer County on Monday the 4th day of December 1854, This noncupative will of Nicholas Thurman dec'd was this day eturned to Court and it is orered that the same be continued until the next court for probat? Attest J P B. Cox ... At a County Court held for Spencer County on Monday the 5th day of February 1855. This Noncupative will of Nicholas Thurman dec'd which was heretofore returned to this court as this day taken up for probate and E? Hedges being sworn as a witness testified that she was present at the last illness of the said deceased that he died with less than six months past at his residence or habitation in this County and that she together with James Gilbert and Sophia Grant the witnesses were called on by said Nicholas Thurman take notice or bear testimony that such was his will or words of like import as those cntained in said writing. Whereupon the same is ordered to be recorded as the Noncupative will of the said Nicholas Thurman dec'd. Attest J P B Cox C...
