Schwall, 85, of 620 Stowe St., died at 3:59 a.m. Sunday (April 19, 1992) in WCA Hospital. A Jamestown resident since 1978, she was born Feb. 18, 1907 in Anderson County Ky., a daughter of Harrison H. and Lulie M. Gibbens Cinnamon. She was the widow of Raymond S. Schwall, whom she married June 30, 1928, and who died April 5, 1986. Formerly, she and her husband owned and operated the Merry El Motel, Columbus, Ga., and retired in 1962. She was a longtime member of Lincoln Park Baptist Church, Cincinnati Ohio. Surviving are a daughter, Shirley Gustafson of Jamestown; five grandchildren, Jill Gustafson of Bell Plaine, Kansas; Robert and David Gustafson, and Julie Gogliano, all of Jamestown; and four great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Ethel Stone, Corrine McChesney, and Etta Fultz, and five brothers, John, Collie, Charles, James, and Allen Cinnamon. The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Lind Funderal Home. The Rev. George H. McConnell, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery. Friends will be received for one half hour prior to the service in the funeral home. The family suggests memorials may be made to Lincoln Park Baptist Church or a charity of choice.
