Obituary from THE ADAIR COUNTY NEWS, Wednesday 20 Mar 1901:

Last Sunday Mr. Henry BURRESS, whose home was near Montpelier, died after a few days 
siege with pneumonia.  Mr. BURRESS was near 80 years old and served through the civil 
war.  His son Henry lives at Campbellsville.
