Submitted by Debbie Dicken Jack Beck, 65, of Kindness Road, Campbellsville, died at 7 a.m., Wednesday, November 19, 1997, in Campbellsville due to an illness. Son of Poley Beck of Campbellsville and the late Mary Elizabeth Kidwell Beck, he was born on December 28, 1931 in Taylor County, Ky., and was a member of Acton Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Beck was a retired farmer and employee of Fruit of the Loom. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the United States Air Force. He was married to Rosaline Barnett on December 16, 1950, who survives. Besides his wife and father, Beck is survived by one son and two daughters and sons-in-law, James Beck of Campbellsville, Bertha "Tiny" and Darrell Dooley of Lewisburg, and Jeanie and Michael Coleman of Shelbyville; one daughter-in-law, Rhonda Beck of Columbia; six grandchildren, Stephen Gordon Beck of Columbia, Jason Dooley of Lexington, Joel Dooley of Lewisburg, Tracy Driehaus of Phoenixville, Pa., Gwen Beck of Lebanon and ! Cara Rose Coleman of Shelbyville; one great-grandson, Carson Jack Dooley of Lexington; and two sisters, Betty Sullivan and Shirley Agee of Campbellsville. He was also preceded in death by one son, Jack Gordon Beck Jr. on December 26, 1982; and three sisters and one brother, Margaret E. Beck, Eva Caulk, Aileen Lemmon and Glenn Beck. Funeral was at 4:30 p.m. Friday, November 21, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by the Rev. Larry Orange and the Rev. Mark Jones. Burial was in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were David Agee, David Beck, Randy Beck, Steve Colvin, Lonnie Lemmon and Brad Sullivan.
