Submitted by Debbie Dicken Mr. Floyd Cash, 63, of the Saloma Road, Campbellsville, Route 3, son of the late J.G. and Matilda Bowen Cash, was born in Cumberland County, November 12, 1907. He died suddenly at 11:00 p.m., Saturday, June 26th while attending the Green County Fair in Greensburg. He and his son, Gene Cash, were showing Tennessee Walking Horses at the Green County Fair from the Cash Stables here in Campbellsville. He was a life-time farmer in Taylor, Green and Cumberland Counties. He professed faith in Christ early in life and was a member of the St. Mark's United Methodist Church. He was married to Miss Bonnie Keen, November 12, 1929 and to this union one son and four daughters were born: Gene Cash, Mrs. Gay Newton, Mrs. Nell Biggs, Mrs. Wanda Wagoner and Mrs. Pearl Willis all of Campbellsville. Besides his wife and children, he is survived by seven grandchildren; two sisters: Mrs. Annie Easter and Mrs. Beulah Tabor both of Burksville. Funeral services were conducted at 2:00 p.m., ! Tuesday, June 29th at the Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home by Rev. R. Donald Honeycutt of Chantilly, Virginia. Burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were: Eugene Smith, J. M. Henderson, Keeney Crouch, Willard Smith, Leonard Milby and Walter Pike. Unknown Taylor County newspaper, no dateline.
