Clipped obit found in scrapbook, no dateline or source
Eugene Oliver, 71, Brownington Way, Campbellsville, was born in Russell 
County, December 8, 1920.  He died at 11:13 p.m., Sunday April 26, 1992, in 
Campbellsville after a sudden illness.  He was a member of the Campbellsville 
Baptist Church.  He retired in 1975 from National Cash Register after some 30 
years service and was a veteran of World War II, having served his country in 
the United States Army.  He was married to Louise Hord January 1, 1950.  
Besides his wife, he is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Darrell and 
Jean Oliver, Colliersville, Tenn.; one grandson and one granddaughter, Matthew 
Oliver and Melissa Oliver, both of Colliersville; one sister and two brothers, 
Ethel Mann, Albany, Ky., John Hugh Oliver, Jamestown, and Hall G. Oliver, 
Bradenton, Fla.; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and 
friends.  The funeral was at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 29 at the Parrott & 
Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville with Dr. James E. Jones officiating. !
  Burial was in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers were Richard 
Hord, Johnie Maupin, Roger Smith, Edwin Blevins, Harry Gill and John McKinley.
