She was a member of the Greensburg United Methodist Church and a retired school teacher, where she served 42 years in the Green County School System. She was also a member of the Retired Teachers Association, KEA and the NEA. She was married to Robert Haskel Bloyd on Nov. 7, 1946, who preceded her in death on July 5, 1987. Bloyd is survived by one daughter and one son, Patsy Morrison of Louisville and Bob Bloyd of Greensburg; one son-in-law, Edward Wayne Morrison of Louisville; a daughter-in-law, Shelia Bloyd of Greensburg; two grandchildren, Randi Bloyd and Chrissy Bloyd, both of Greensburg; one step-granddaughter, Kim Baker of Campbellsville; two step-great-grandchildren, Clay and Clint Baker, both of Campbellsville; two sisters-in-law, Lucille Bloyd of Indiana ! and Jessie Hord of Louisville; and two nephews, Charles Richard Hord of Louisville and Henry Hord of Georgia. Funeral was at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 16, 1994, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, Greensburg, with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. The Rev. William Egbert officiated.
