He died at 5:11 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30, 1992, in Louisville due to an illness. He and his wife owned and operated R&C Frame and Gift Shop in Campbellsville. He was married to Ruby Hord, on Dec. 24, 1937. Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter and three sons, Margie Leach, Jerry McMahan, Bobby McMahan and Donnie McMahan, all of Campbellsville; three granddaughters and three grandsons, Jeannie Hardin, Wendy McMahan, and Barry McMahan, all of Campbellsville; Janna Cotterill, Columbia, S.C., Brian Leach, Cynthiana, and Robb McMahan, Lexington; one great-granddaughter and three great-grandsons, Chelsea Hardin, Tye Hardin, and Joshua McMahan, all of Campbellsville, and Patrick McMahan, Lexington; two brothers, Richard McMahan, Campbellsville, and Earnest McMahan, Louisville; and several nieces and nephews. He was pr! eceded in death by five brothers, Bruen McMahan, Henry McMahan, Finis McMahan, Lester McMahan and Samuel McMahan. The funeral was at 11 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 2, at the Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville with the Rev. Chester Gordon VanDyke and the Rev. Ron Ferree officiating. Burial was in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers were G.T. Leach, Jr., Brian Leach, Robb McMahan, Thomas R. McMahan, Mike Shreve and Logan Malone. Honorary pallbearers were Eddie Haynes, Bobby Callison, Norman Paxton, Otis Parrish Jr., Oliver Hord, Johnie Maupin, Leon Paxton, John Price, Robert Lanham, Coy Rainwater, Phillip Callison, William Olin Blakeman, Edwin L.
