Submitted by Debbie Dicken William Wesley Murray, 81, Gowdy Street, Campbellsville, died Monday, Sept. 7, 1992, at the Taylor County Hospital after a long illness. He was the son of the late Will Murray and Nannie Loy Murray of Taylor County. Murray was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church and was a retired farmer at the time of his death. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Murray; one sister, Virgie Bowen, Milford, Ohio; and several other relatives and a host of friends. The funeral was at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1992, at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Mark Jones officiated with the Rev. Harvey Parker assisting. Pallbearers were Lindsey Murray, Kermit Murray, Melvin Skaggs, Jimmy Skaggs, Charles McDemott Jr. and Otha Blevins. Clipped obit, found in old scrapbook, no dateline or date.
