Submitted by Debbie Dicken Mrs. Jenny Mae Druin Skaggs, 69 years of age, departed this life on Saturday, January 12, 1974, at the St. Joseph Infirmary in Louisville, Ky. She was a native of Taylor County, born on August 7, 1904. She was a resident of Route 3, Campbellsville, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late J. E. Druin and Susan Ellis Druin. She was united in marriage to W. G. Skaggs, who survives. She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Roberts Baptist Church. Besides her husband, Mrs. Skaggs is survived by two sons: James Skaggs of Campbellsville and Calvin Skaggs of Campbellsville; and one daughter: Mrs. Edith Underwood, also of Campbellsville; 7 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She is also survived by two sisters: Mrs. Opal Pike of Hodgenville, Ky., and Mrs. Fannie Spratt of Campbellsville. Funeral services were conducted at the Lyon Funeral Home on Monday, January 14, at 2:00 p.m. The Rev. John McComb, Rev. Ken Forman, and Rev. Don Cherry were in charge of the services. Burial was in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. The pallbearers were: Russell Skaggs, Mickey Underwood, Terry Mardis, Bob Milby, Billy Spratt, and Bill Milby. Unknown Taylor Co. newspaper, no dateline.
