Submitted by Debbie Dicken Mrs. Alma Wethington, Route 8, Liberty, Ky., died at her home in the Clementsville community in Casey County Thursday, Dec. 2, [1971] at 5:45 p.m. Death was due to a heart attack. Mrs. Wethington, 68, was born in Casey County April 30, 1903, daughter of Eva Wethington and Ollie Clements, both deceased. She was a member of the St. Bernard Catholic Church. Her first marriage was to James Carmon who died in 1933. Her second marriage was to Lawrence J. Wethington, who died in 1949. Funeral services were conducted at the St. Bernards Catholic Church Monday, December 6 at 11:00 p.m., by Rev. Harold Smith with burial in St. Bernards Cemetery. The Lyon Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements and burial. Survivors include three sons and one daughter, Gene and Otha Carmon of Clementsville; Obie Carmon, Osgood, Ind., and Mrs. Maxine Mills, Dunnville, Ky. Also surviving are three brothers and three sisters, Wayne and Arnold Clements both of Clementsville and Otha Clement! s, Campbellsville; Mrs. Alice Edwards, Elmwood, Ohio, Mrs. Lettie Summers, Lebanon and Mrs. Regina Clements, Campbellsville. Pallbearers: Andrew Patton, Pat Wethington, Verl Clements, Larry Fraid, Gary and Otis Clements. Unknown Taylor County newspaper, no dateline.
