R. LYON and Miss Ivy YATES were promptly married at the Baptist church, Bradfordsville on the morning of the 28th. They will be at their home in Campbellsville after January 5th. ---------------------------- Wednesday, 23 Jan 1901: At the close of the holidays a marriage, somewhat out of the ordinary, occurred in Taylor county just over the Adair line. About two years ago, Mr. William GADDIE was kicked by a mule, dying in a few days thereafter. He left his second wife, a handsome woman. His son, by his first wife, twenty-eight years old, soon fell in love with his step-mother, and after a courtship of eighteen months, they were happily married. All the parties are respectable people. ---------------------------- Mr. Lawson W. HARDEN, who resides in this county and Miss Manlie M. TURNER, Jr., of Campbellsville to Miss Mary COLEMAN, of Richmond, Ky. The ceremony will occur the 27th of this month. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wednesday, 06 Mar 1901: Mr. John N. TURNER, Jr., of Campbellsville, a popular young man who is in the banking business, and Miss Mary COLEMAN, a charming young lady, of Richmond, Ky., were quietly married last Wednesday evening. The couple reached Campbellsville Thursday afternoon and were given a reception at the home of the groom's father. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wednesday, 13 Mar 1901: Last Wednesday at Crocus, this county, Mr. W. W. KIRTLEY, of Taylor, and Miss Lizzie ANTLE were untied in marriage, the Rev. G. W. COLLINS officiating. Mr. KIRTLEY is a merchant at Mac, Taylor county, and Miss ANTLE was post mistress at Crocus. ROBINSON, of Campbellsville, a young man well-known in Columbia, son of the late John R. ROBINSON, will be married to-day to Grace HURON, of Danville, Indiana. LOVING, formerly pastor of the Campbellsville Baptist Church, but for the past eighteen months the preacher in charge of the Glasgow church, will be married tomorrow to Miss Mary H. DICKINSON, a popular young lady of the capital of Barren county. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Wednesday, 24 Apr 1901: Mr. Norman HOBSON, of Campbellsville, and Miss Leona KING, Horse Cave, were married at the brides home Tuesday of last week. The ceremony was performed by the bride's father, who was recently pastor of the Methodist Church at Campbellsville.
