Johnson of the County of Trigg and State of Kentucky of the one part, and Z. E. F. Mitchussen of the County and State aforesaid of the other part, Witnesseth, that the said G. D. Johnson has this day for the Sum of two hundred Dollars the receipt of which he doth hereby acknowledge, bargained and sold unto the said Z. E. F. Mitchussen a certain tract or parcel of land lying in said County of Trigg on the waters of Tennessee River and meeted and bounded as follows, Viz, Beginning at two gums and an Elm, running thence South 65º West, 68 poles to a white oak and hickory, thence N. 35º W. 8 poles to a white oak, sassafras and sour wood, thence South 67º W 22 poles to three hickories, on the bank of Tennessee River, thence down the same with its meanders, 180 poles to a mulberry and hickory, thence North 60º E 80, to a poplar, gum, dogwood in said Johnson’s line, thence with his line South 35º E 96 poles to a poplar and two white oaks, thence N 82º E 48 poles to two hickorys and a sweet gum, thence South 58 poles to a white oak and hickory thence, South 61º E. 38 poles to the place of beginning containing One hundred acres, be the same more or less. And the said G. D. Johnson for himself, his heirs and assigns doth hereby for ever warrant and defend the said tract of land to him the said Z. E. F. Mitchusson his heirs and assigns against the claim of himself his heirs and assigns or any person or persons claiming under, by, or through himself, his heirs or assigns for ever. Johnson § Trigg County § Sct. I, William Gannon, clerk of the County Court for the County aforesaid, do hereby certify, that this Deed from Gregory D. Johnson to Z. E. F. Mitchusson was on this day produced to me in my office, and acknowledged by said Johnson, the grantor, to be his act and deed.
