Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Darren Gaddis and Jim Ricks officiating. Burial will be in East End Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight. A native of Trigg County, she was born Feb. 18, 1918, the daughter of the late Arthur Nay and Flossie Taylor Armstrong. She was retired from International Shoe Co., Hopkinsville, and was a member of Liberty Point Baptist Church. Her husband, Mark Hammond, died in 1998. Survivors include a son, W.J. Hammond, Louisville; a daughter, Shirley Hammond Cavanah, Hopkinsville; a brother, Thomas ‘'Buddy'' Armstrong, Hopkinsville; two sisters, Ouinnie Tucker and Helen Joiner, both of Hopkinsville and a grandson.
