Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. David Culp and the Rev. Dr. Rodney Travis officiating. Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday. A native of Cadiz, he was born Nov. 3, 1922, the son of the late Otis and Vera Ellis Moorefield. He was owner and operator of Deal and Moorefield Co. for more than 30 years and was a member of the Buffalo Lick Baptist Church. His first wife, Evelyn Cameron Moorefield, died in 1982. Survivors include his wife, Marie Cameron Goodwin Moorefield; a son, Charles T. Moorefield, Hopkinsville; a daughter, Jane Morrison, Hopkinsville; two sisters, Ruth Allen, Cadiz, Annie Noel, Athens, Ala.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Submitter: Gregory W.
