Anderson (written in margin: Fee Paid, delivered 28, April 1851) THIS INDENTURE made and entered into this eight day of January One thousand eight hundred and fifty Between Lindsey Bain and Sidney Bain his wife of the first part and David O Anderson of the Second part both of the County of Trimble and state of Kentucky Witnesseth that the party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of one thousand dollars Five hundred in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and three hundred to be paid on the first day of March 1851 and two hunderd Dollars to be paid the first day of March 1852 for the Said David O Anderson has executed his two Several notes due as above the aprty of the first part hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain Sell and transfer unto the said David O Anderson the following tract or parcel of Land lying and being in the County of Trimble and on the head waters of Corn Creek and bounded as follows viz beginning at the Hickory and Poplar South West Corner of Spencers Claim of four hunderd acres Thence with Said Spencers and John Roberts line North 14 (degrees; the used the symbol here) W (blank space) poles to a sugar tree on a branch of corn creek Thence up the branch an Easterly course to a drain Thence up the drain a Southeastern course to the big road from Madison to Bedford Thence with the said road to the Old Line to a stone Thence with the old ine S 76 W fifty poles to the beginning Supposed to contain one hundred and thirty acres be the same more or less To have and to hold the Land hereby conveyed with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and the said Lindsey Bain and Sidney his wife hereby convenant and agree with the said David O Anderson that they will warrant and forever warrant and defend the title of the above described premises against the claim or claims of all and every person or persons lawfully claiming or to claim the same and the said Bain retains a Lien on the Land hereby conveyed until the above payments are made In testimony whereof the said Lindsey Bain and Sidney his wife have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the date first written.
