Peak, and Brother This indenture made and entered into this 7th day of May 1878 by and between Mary J. Farley of the one part and W.F. Peak and Bro. of the second part all of Trimble County, State of Kentucky witnesseth: that for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and twenty five dollars in hand paid the receipt of which is acknowledged by said Mary J Farley she has and by these presents does bargain sell alien and convey unto these the said W.F. Peak and Bro. Their heirs and assignes all her undivided interest right title and claim in and to the following tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Trimble and State of Kentucky on the waters of Barebone creek, the first tract bounded as follows. Beginning at the Sugartree & a Mulberry in the line of Alolphus Perkinson thence S76 W42 poles to a Sugartree and Ironwood in Manson Chandlers line thence with said line S6 W41 poles to a Beech in the south line of the 10,000 acre survey and corner to said Chandlers thence S76 W 41 poles to a Beech and Walnut near a branch & corner to B.R. Perkinsons thence with his line S25 1/2 E106 poles to an Elm, Sugartree & Buckeye at the foot of the hill, corner to said B.R. Perkinson thence up Barebone N27 1/2 E 50 poles to a stone at the mouth of a branch that comes from Bedford & corner to R Gatewood thence N23 E38 poles thence N23 W7 poles to a Beech in the old 10,000 acre survey thence with said line S76 W47 poles to a White Oak Beech and Sugartree corner to A Perkinson thence with his line N14 W34 poles to the beginning containing fifty-six acres more or less and being same conveyed to Brooks R Perkinson by Isaac Johnson by and dated 13 Oct 1852 and recorded in the clerks office of the Trimble County Court in deed book D page 862. The second tract adjoins the above bounded as follows beginning at a White Walnut & Beech in Roberts line & corner to Wm. Normans land thence with Roberts line 576 71 poles to three Sugartrees Hickory and large Sycamore near a Branch and corner to Jack Pryor Joseph Lane & Wm. Lane thence with W Lanes line S11, W134 poles to a small Ironwood Black Ash & Beech in Potters line then E108 poles to two large Sycamores in Pattens line thence N37 E53 1/2 poles to Buckeye Sugartree & Elm at the foot of a hill thence N24 W108 poles to the beginning containing ninety two acres more or less being same conveyed to B. R. Perkinson by Joseph Lane per deed dated 29 day of June 1837 recorded in same office in deed book A page 29. Also the following tract bounded as follow beginning at 2 Sugartrees on a hillside thence south 57 poles to a Stone on a hill side opposite the mouth of a branch thence up said branch with the meander South 84 E 60 poles N59 E30 poles with the meander of said branch to a Sugartree, Mulberry & Buckeye near branch thence N44 poles to an Ash & Sugartree in a ridge thence W86 poles to the beginning containing 28 acres more or less & being same conveyed to B. R. Perkinson by A. H. Talbott & Wife per deed dated 13 May 1851. Recorded in same office in deed book D page 78 except 22 acres sold off of said land by B. R. Perkinson in his life time to Adolphus Perkinson leaving about 154 acres in said three tracts and the interest herein conveyed being the one undivided seventh part of said land and all the interest of said Mary J. Farley in said land as daughter & heir at law of B. R. Perkinson dead to have and to hold said land with all the appurtenance unto them the said W. F. Peck & Bro. Their heirs and assignes forever with covenant of general warrant. In witness whereof said Mary J. Farley has hereunto signed her name date first written.
