Deed: John Farley: Trimble Co: 1838 Submitted by: Joy Mack Email: cmuck@seidata.com Trimble County Courthouse Bedford, Kentucky Deed Book A, pg. 128 Dated 22 Jan 1838 Grantor: Daniel Garriott, John Farley, Joseph Farley, and Bassett Watson Grantee: William Bulter THIS INDENTURE made this 22d.day of January 1838 between Daniel Garriott, John Farley, Joseph Farley and Bassett Watson of the County Trimble and State of Kentucky of the one part and William Butler of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Daniel Garriott, John Farley, Joseph Farley and Bassett Watson for and in consideration of twenty five dollars to each of them in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, hath granted, bargained and sold and by these presents doth grant, bargain and sell unto the said William Bulter his heirs and assigns each of us our undivided unity (a word was written in above this word. It looks like maity or moity or Woity or Waity) of a tract of land on the waters of Little Kentucky in the aforesaid Cty.of Trimble on which said Butler now lives containing twelve and one half acres each with the appurtenances thereunto belonging, unto the said William Butler his heirs and assigns forever and the said Daniel Garriott, John Farley, Joseph Farley and Bassett Watson legal heirs and representatives of Forrest Farley decd. for themselves their heirs, exrs.and admrs. the aforesaid tract or parcel of land and appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the said William Bulter his heirs or assigns against the claim of all and every person or persons whatsoever will warrent and forever defend. Farley, Joseph H. Farley and Bassett Watson to William Bulter was on the 22nd.day of January 1838 produced to me in my office and acknowledged by Daniel Garriott & John E. Farley to be their act and deed and on the 26th.day of February, 1838 acknowledged by the said Bassett Watson to be his act and deed and on this day acknowledged by the said Joseph H. Farley to be his act and deed, and said deed together with the foregoing certificate hath been duly admitted to record in my office. Given under my hand this 28th day of May, 1838.
