Gillum to him his having written the debit for which I went his Security March 18/51 [signed] Isaac Johnson) This Indenture made and entered into this 16th day of February 1850 Between Erasmus D. Gillum of the first part and Isaac Johnson of the Second part both of the County of Trimble and State of Kentucky Witnesseth that foand in consideration of the sum of one dollar in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and the further consideration of the said Isaac Johnson going security to Collins for the said E D Gillum for the Sum of fifty dollars the said party of the first part hath bargained and sold and by these presents doth bargain and sell unto the said Isaac Johnson the tract of land on which he now lives being to same allotted to him to him and wife by the commissioners under the decree of the Trimble Circuit in the Lands of John Rowlett dec'd among his heirs a reference is made to the report of the Commissioners for a more penticular discription of the same To have and to hold the Land hereby conveyed unto the party of second part and his heirs forever and the said party of the first part herevy conenants and agress with the party of the second part that he will will warrant and forever deferred the title of the above premises against tthe claim or claims of all and every person or persons lawfully Claiming the same thereof the said D E Gillum or any other person for him Shall pay of the said note of fifty dollars to said Collins and keep the said Johnson _______ then thsi deed of Mortgage to be Null and void else to remain in full force and virtue Witness my hand and seal the date first written. Gillum to be his Act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned whereupon said deed together with this certificate hath been duly admitted to record in my office.
