Grantor: Talbot Gillum
Grantee: William Barnes

	Know all men be these presents that I Talbot Gillum have this day 
sold unto William Barnes on wagon and one yoke of steers for the sum of 
sixty seven dollars and twenty five cents cash in hand received of the said 
Barnes, If I the said Talbott Gillum shall pay the said Barnes the aforesaid 
sum of sixty seven dollars and twenty five cents with interest thereon, on 
or before the 27th day of next September, then the aforesaid wagon and oxen 
are to be my property. otherwise to be and remain the property of him the 
afsd. Wm.Barnes forever.

	Witness my hand and seal this 27th day of June one thousand eight 
hundred and thirty eight.

	I James Latty Clerk protem of the County Court of Trimble County in 
the State of Kentucky do certify that this deed or mortgage from Talbott 
Gillum to William Barnes was on this day acknowledged before me in my office 
by the said Talbott Gillum to be his act and deed for the purposes therein 
specified and the same together with this certificate hath been duly 
admitted to record in my office.

	Given under my hand this 27th day of June 1838.
