Luther Anderson, 88, Milton

Luther Anderson, 88, Milton, KY died Friday Dec 12. 1997 at the King's
Daughters Hospital in Madison, Indiana. He was born in Carroll County, the
son of Irwin and Pearl Kinman Anderson on May 19, 1909. He was a carpenter,
belonged to the labor union, the Masonic Lodge #947 of Milton, was a former
member of Milton Lion's Club, and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a
member of Milton Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mary, two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren;
and one great-great grandchild.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a
daughter, Pearl Hanlon and one sister. 

The funeral was held on Tuesday, Dec 16, 1997 at 2:00 pm at the Wood-Oakley
Funeral Home in Milton, KY. Burial was in Moffett Cemetery. Officiating the
service was Rev. Ferrill Davis. Pallbearers were Robert Wilson, James Pyles,
Elmer Anderson, Gayle Eaglin, Cliff Gossom, and Bob Everhardt.
