Obituary:  Trimble County: Barron: 1998

Fern Barron, 72, of 142 Handlon Road, Milton, Ky., died Sunday
Aug. 23, 1998 at her residence.

She was born on April 1, 1926, in Trimble County, Ky., the daughter of
Wilbur  and  Laura Williams Crafton. She was a homemaker, a member of
the Women’s  Auxillary of American  Legion Post 9, and a member of Walnut
Street Baptist Church in Louisville Ky.

Surviving are her  husband, Raymond Barron Sr. Of Milton, Ky.; two daughters,
Peggy Handlon of Milton, Ky..  and Mitzi  Blanton of Clarksville, Tenenssee; two 
sons, David Barnes and Danny Barns, both of Lexington Ky.; three sisters, Judy Briddle
and Barbara Gosman, both of   Milton, Ky., and Doris Jones of Lawrenceburg, Ky,; 
three brothers , Payne Crafton of Madison, Ind., and Verda & Wayne Crafton, both
of Milton, Ky,; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and 
nephews.

She was preceeded in death by her parents and jone grandchild.
Services were held at 2 p.m. EDT Wednesday at Woood-Oakley Funeral Home in Milton,
with burial in Moffett Cemetery.
