Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. at Pleasant View church for Robert L. Culver, 66, Trimble county, Kentucky resident, who died at his home in the Carmel neighborhood yesterday at 4:00 a.m. after suffering from a long illness of paralysis. A son of William and Frances Joyce Culver, he was born in Indiana but had spent most of his life on a farm in Trimble county. He was married in 1896 to Frances Gillum, who preceded him in death, and was remarried in 1934 to Mrs. Myrtle Pike, of Louisville, who survives together with three children by his first marriage. The children are Mrs. Jennings Greenwood, of Carmel, and two sons, William, living in this state, and Roy Culver, living in Illinois. He also leaves a brother, Frank, of this county. Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. Harrison, Rev. Pilow and Rev. W. B. Snyder, of Milton, with burial in Pleasant View cemetery. CULVER DEAD Long Illness Following Paralysis Ends In Peaceful Slumber Mr. Robert L. Culver, aged 66 years, and one of the prominent and reliable citizens of the Carmel neighborhood, died Wednesday morning at 4 o'clock after a long illness of heart trouble, followed by a stroke of paralysis several weeks ago. Funeral services will be conducted at Carmel church tomorrow (Friday) morning at 11 o'clock with interment in the cemetery adjacent. Mr. Culver was a son of the late Mr. William Culver, and was born in Indiana near Brooksburg. On February 26, 1896, he was united in marriage to Miss Fromia Gillum, to this union three children were born, namely, Mrs. Jennings Greenwood, of the Carmel neighborhood; Mr. William Culver, of Illinois, and Mr. Roy Culver, of Jefferson county, Indiana. On February 14, 1934, he married to Mrs. Myrtle Pike, of Louisville, who was devoted to him and did everything to make his last days his happiest and best. One brother, Mr. Frank Culver, residing on the Graham Road, near Madison, also survives. in the death of Mr. Culver the county has lost a good citizen, neighbor and friend, and the family and relatives have the deepest sympathy of a large acquaintance. Rev. W. E. Harrison, Rev. C. P. Pilow and Elder W. B. Snyder will conduct the service and the following friend will act as pallbearers: Messrs. Orvel Adcock, Walter Perry, S. W. Austin, Leslie Bird, Mark Coffin and Henry Wingham.
