Culver, 93, died Monday, September 11, 1995, at the Trimble County Nursing Home. He was born near Milton, the son of Robert L. and Sophronia Gillum Culver, and was a farmer near Madison, Indiana for most of his life. He was a member of the First Bapist Church of Shelbyville, a deacon, and a Kentucky Colonel. He is survived by two daughters, Frances Beckley of LaGrange and Ruth Muck of Milton; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Florence Perkinson Culver; his second wife, Nancy Reynolds Culver; one brother, William Culver; and one sister, Ethel Greenwood. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, September 14, 1995, at the Vail-Holt Funeral Home Madison.
