Clara May Farley Mecham Penrod died May 28, 1980.
Born February 19, 1892, Bedford, Kentucky, to John Wesley and Nancy Alice
Stone Farley. Married George Mecham, September 30, 1914, Salt Lake LDS Temple,
he died July 19, 1942. Married David A. Penrod, he died October 1949.
Survivors: one son, two daughters, Wess Duane Mecham, Salt Lake City, Mrs.
Robert G (Norma) Smith, American Fork, Mrs. Clifford G (Lorna) Buckus, Provo;
fourteen grandchildren, 60 great-grandchildren, stepson, Dean Mecham, 
Bountiful, step-daughters, Amorie Davis, Emna Hansen, Riverton, one brother, 
John A. Farley, Prove, two sisters, Mrs. Hallie Miller, Whiteland, Indiana,
Mrs. Lucy Browning, Greenwood, Indiana.
Funeral services Monday 11:00 a.m., Anderson & Sons Morturary Chapel.  Friends
call Sunday 7-9 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services.  Interment 
Wallsburg Cemetery.
