Vernon Williams, 84, Bedford, formerly of Louisville, died Saturday in Carrollton.
He was a native of Trimble County, a retired calf buyer for Bourbon Stock Yards and a member 
of Providence Baptist Church in Bedford. Survivors: his wife, the former Mildred Tingle of 
Bedford; a son, Bob Williams; two sisters, Bea Courtney and Ruby O'Neal, both of Bedford; 
two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday, Ransdell Funeral Home in 
Bedford, with burial in Carrollton IOOF Cemetery. Visitation after 2 p.m. Sunday.
