Will; Bain; 1845; Trimble County Submitted by: Joy Mack Email: cmuck@seidata.com October 1, 1999 Trimble County Courthouse Bedford, Kentucky Will Book 1 page 93-94 WILL OF JOHNSON BAIN I Johnson Bain of the County of Trimble and State of Kentucky do hereby make and ordain this my last will and testament in manner and form following (To wit). Item 1st It is my will that my Mother Sally Bain have my two negroes Pleasant and Ruth during her natural life and at her death they are to belong to my Sister Elvina Bain to the use of herself and heirs forever. Item 2nd After all my Just debts ane paid It is my wish that Archibald Bain have four hundred Dollars of my personal property (the stock and farming utensils) to be valued the amount that he may ___ one at the time of my death to be estitmated as a part of the four hundred if the stock &c together with what he may be owning one will not make the sum of four hundred Dollars at is my will that the balance be made from my other efforts. Item 3rd It is my will that my sister Elvina Bain have my negro woman Rebecca and her increases to her and her heirs forever Item 4th It is my will that after all of my Just debts are paid it is my will that my sister Elvina Bain have the balance of my estate Cash Cash notes &c and every ____ of property not otherwise desposed of and last I do hereby appoint William Samuel Executor to this my last will and testament hereby making all other or former wills heretofore made by me, In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 27th January 1845.
