Will of John M. Toombs 1881

This the 23th day of December 1881
I John M Toombs do make this my last will and Testament I will and bequeath 
to W H Toombs sixteen acres known as the Fanny Hancock place the home place 
to be Equally divided between all the children my Mothers and sisters and 
they are to take care of my father in decency as long as he lives. I give to 
Elizabeth my Sister my Brown horse

A writing posperting to be the last will and Testament of J M Toombs Dec'd 
was produced in open court on the Jany term 1882 and Proven by the oath of 
David Craig one of the subscribing witnesses and at the Feby Term 1882 the 
some was proven by Thomas Craig an other subscribing witness thereto was the 
last will and Testament of said Dec'd and ordered to be recorded as such. 
Given under my hand this 14 day Feby 1882
