Crittenden Record-Press  6 July 1911 

                   "Uncle Willis" Hamilton of Caseville, KY, who
                   has just celebrated his 106th birthday, probably is
                   the oldest man living in Kentucky. Up to a short
                   time ago he was able to walk alone to Sturgis,
                   KY, a distance of six miles. He is hale and hearty
                   and bids fair to live several more years.
